Universal Pictures Untitled Werewolf Thriller
Universal Pictures Untitled Werewolf Thriller
Adam wrapped on Universal Pictures’ as yet “Untitled Werewolf Thriller” at the beginning of December 2011, after a 7 week shoot in Romania.
He joins Stephen Rea (V For Vendetta; The Crying Game) and Steven Bauer (Scarface; Primal Fear) as Universal further celebrates its history of horror with an exhilarating original adventure that embraces the cultural resurgence of the original werewolf myth.
Breathtaking action and nail-biting suspense collide as a group of 5 bounty-hunters led by Ed Quinn (Eureka; True Blood), descend on a tiny hamlet in search of the most terrifying monster they have yet come up against.
Adam plays Stefan, the foppish second-in-command of the group of 19th Century bounty-hunters, with great relish;
“Stefan is a fop and a dandy and a bounder and a cad. What more could an actor want in a character?”
Adam is seen here next to a bust of Vlad Tepes in the citadel town of Sighisoara in Transylvania, where some of the film’s key sequences were shot.
“It was pretty surreal to be filming in the actual town where Vlad The Impaler was reputedly born and raised. Shooting a werewolf picture in Transylvania, in the town where the man that Dracula was based on actually lived, at around Halloween, is probably one of the cooler things that I’ve done!”
Unversal’s “Werewolf” is out around Halloween 2012.
